SENDING PHOTOS TO 'NETWORK OF LIGHT'

To post a picture on the Flickr/lightomega page for subsequent inclusion in the 'Network of Light' blog, one needs to have or to create a Flickr account and ID. Here are the steps:

1. Click on SIGN UP for a Flickr account.
• Fill out form to create a Yahoo account.
• Create a Flickr ID

2. To upload a photo to your new account:

• On your Flickr Home page, click on #2, Upload your first photos.
• Look for and click on PSST - Looking for our basic Uploader?
• Browse your hard drive for the photo
• Choose a privacy setting: PUBLIC
• Click UPLOAD

3. To bring your picture to the lightomega Flickr page, first include lightomega as one of your contacts:

• Click on the little arrow to the right of CONTACTS at the top of the page and click on PEOPLE SEARCH.
• Search for LIGHTOMEGA
• On the next page, click on the icon to the left of lightomega and click on Add lightomega as a contact.
• Click on ADD CONTACT.

4. Next:

• Click on HOME in the top left of a Flickr page.
• Click on the photo that you uploaded and wish to share.
• Click on SHARE THIS This in the top right portion of the page.
• Click GRAB THE HTML and select the code and copy

5. Finally…

• Return to the lightomega Flickr page

• Click on COMMENT below the picture.
• In the ADD YOUR COMMENT box, write your message and paste the HTML code between square brackets [like this]
• Click PREVIEW and if everything looks right, click POST COMMENT.
